Worldview Staff

Worldview employs two staff - Geoff Westlake & Darren Birch. They rely on your donations to be financially supported to continue the awesome ministry they do. So what do they do?

Geoff Westlake

As an ordained minister with the Baptist Churches of WA, serving as a para-church evangelist since 1997, Geoff engages teenagers as adults. With his family he leads Cheers Neighbours’ Network in an outer-suburban neighbourhood, to bless and benefit Banksia Grove and beyond. As one of our camp Directors, Geoff coordinates the curriculum & camp speakers. He regularly speaks at Churches across Perth, runs WVA Quiz Nights, Bites, and other tailored experiences. He also teaches on church camps and anywhere who will listen to him, he is there. Geoff works full time in ministry, and has an expansive knowledge in theology & apologetics.

Darren Birch

Was a school chaplain, childrens & youth pastor, but now runs his own Handyman business, and teaches R.E. in government primary schools. Darren works Part Time with Worldview Australia. He has over 30 years experience in youth ministry, chaplaincy, counselling, parenting training, and mentoring young people. With his wife Kathryn, he has established Families on Firm Foundations to help parents train and disciple their children, they also run a teen discipleship and Bible study group. He spends his ministry time developing Pre-View Camp, running parenting seminars, counselling, and much more.

Worldview Speakers

Our speakers, that come to our programs and share their invaluable knowledge, receive a small donation for their services. However, we would like to pay them properly if we can. We have speakers at all our events, and we can only support them so much while we run events like Worldview Bites for free. Your donation would go straight to supporting the speaker directly.

Worldview Admin

Worldview has a small team of gifted administrators that make sure everything is running legally, smoothly and easily for our volunteers. These administrators are completely voluntary, and donate their time to the ministry of Worldview Australia, but we would love to be able to gift them some support for the hard work they do, and hope to employ them formally when we have the regular funds to do so.
