Small Group Leaders Job Description:
On Worldview Australia we are looking for young people who are wanting to be trained as Leaders, and who have experience as leaders also.
​This age group is typically 18-35. If you are older than this, then you can help out in different ways as shown above!​ You are expected to be on site at camp for the entirety of the week. You will not be permitted to leave at any time unless in the case of an emergency.
As a Worldview Australia small group leader, your responsibilities will be:
​With yourself:
  • Have a regular quiet time
  • Attend pre-camp training day
  • Join in Bible studies
  • Contribute to all leaders meetings
  • Join in all assigned camp activities
  • Be accountable to camp policies, each other and those in authority
  • Mobile phones for camp communications only. Personal use can be done only in private.
  • Adhere to the dress code standards on camp​​
Other Camp Roles
​Director, speaker, cook, admin, etc.
If you are hoping to help out at camp in another role (not small group leader). Please contact us for ways you can help.
If you are someone who has already spoken with us about helping at camp, just complete the application.
With your students:
  • Model Christ-like character
  • Love each student by building relationships, mentoring, encouraging, and serving
  • Lead small group discussions in order to help students understand the lectures at an age-appropriate level
  • Encourage them to join in camp activities
  • Take responsibility for their safety
  • Be available and relatable
  • Be on top of your time management - being on time to lectures is your responsibility

With the rest of camp:
  • Attend classes as assigned
  • Lead and participate in athletic activities
  • Be responsible for your role/activity on camp
  • Participate in leadership training prior to camp
  • Take responsibility for the condition of the equipment and facilities you are using

Instructions to Join our Team:
1. Read the Small Group Leaders Job Description, worldview page, our statement of faith, and our Key Concepts.
2. Join the Worldview Australia team by following the link below and completing the forms.
3. You will then be contacted by one of our directors if you are chosen to be on our leadership team.
4. You will be emailed a link with information required to complete the safety requirements for camp.
5. Compulsory Training Day & Day before camp dates below:
  • Saturday November 1st - all day, 9am - 9pm includes some social time together in the evening
  • Sunday December 28th - arrive a day early to camp, from 10am.​​
